New Venture & Church Planting Application | Canadian Pacific District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance
The following is intended to provide the Canadian Pacific District with a brief snapshot of your "New Venture" or "church plant" vision. It is not intended to be comprehensive so please feel free to use "point form" answers where applicable. Our goal here is to gain an opening picture of your situation and ministry dreams. * "New Venture" refers to a ministry which - while not yet a "local church" - has the potential and permission of the C&MA to become one. For example, you might have plans to begin a compassion ministry of some-kind. The ministry in its initial phases is not a local church, but you have a dream which sees it evolving into one in the coming years. This is a "New Venture".

Section Two | Vision and Calling
Briefly describe how you have sensed God's calling to a New Venture or a Church Plant
Describe your vision for this new work? What will it look like? Is there a model you are drawn toward?
Why do you feel this new work is needed?
Section Three | Disciple-Making
The multiplication vision of the Canadian Pacific District is a "disciple-making" first vision. It states: The Multiplication Ministries of the Canadian Pacific District exist to equip, send, and support disciple-making servants whose Spirit-filled labour results in new faith communities. In short, this means we're not looking to simply plant churches, rather we're looking to partner with apostolic leaders who have a vision for making new disciples, while equipping them to do the same and through this work, to see new faith communities emerge. The following series of questions deals with this vision and it's outworking in your life
Describe your discipleship experience. How did you become a disciple of Jesus? Who discipled you?
Who are you presently discipling? What does that experience look like?
Have you ever been equipped in a disciple-making methodology? Describe that experience and it's place in your life today.
Dallas Willard famously once said, "I would ask every church two questions. First, do you have a plan for making disciples? Second, is that plan working?" In this new vision you are being called into, do you have a plan for making disciples? Briefly describe that plan (Point form is fine).
